The series of interventions envisioned here were in response to a number of coastal projects on the island of Naxos in Greece. The project was commissioned by the municipality of Naxos, and aimed to address the abandoned construction projects on the island that came to a halt after austerity measures were implemented in Greece in 2010. The interventions transform these contemporary ruins into a series of public spaces, with a particular emphasis on reclaiming the right to water.
